html emails

Hi all - me is a newbie to this forum!
Im Mark a Web designer.

OK so what i need to achieve - using css and a bit of javascript i can create a html page where you can click on a button/image to make a div visible or not visible.

Obviously if i sent the html page as an email the javascript doesnt work.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to achieve this

Many thanks
Mark

Re: html emails

I'm not sure what you want to do: create the page as outlined above, or send a page as an e-mail.

Re: html emails

@dm01: he want's to use JS in an email (which will get filtered by most clients, and not run by any[that i've seen so far]).

All i can think of is re-directing your e-mail to another webpage (e.g: "our latest newsletter is out, see it here" linking towards a newsletter with JS in [very lame example btw]).

Most e-mail clients don't allow JS because using JS in something like the new live-mail web-client you could delete the entirety of someone's inbox.

Cheers,
Jamey
