Will Perl/GTK2 execute over CGI?

I want to display my GTK2 UI in a web browser using a perl script wrapper, but it just wont work.

I'm using the Glade GUI builder to create my UI in the form of a gladexml file, then I've written a perl/gtk2 script wrapper to call the gladexml file using libglade. When I cal the perl/gtk2 script wrapper from the command line works fine.

Now I've installed Apache2 and configured it to execute perl scripts, hello_world.pl works fine and is displayed in my web browser.

But, when I try and execute my perl/gtk2 script wrapper, my GTK2 UI is not displayed.

Does anyone know if this is even possible?

My System:
OpenSuSE 11.0
apache 2.2.8-28.4
mod_perl 2.03.99-46.1
perl 5.10.0-37.4
libglade 2.6.2-93-1
Glade 3-3.4.5
gtk2-gladexml 1.007
