BB Code and HTML
I am currently in an online game and we have about 100 members in my team. We currently have a chatbox on our main page but I would like to be able to have one in our private forum, This way no one but our members in the game can view it at any time or join it at anytime unless they can actually access our forums. Is there a possible way this can be done as I believe we have BB code as our main thing in the game but have been told that html is also part of it. I know the Xat chat works on the main page yet everytime i get the code to add a chatbox it just shows up as the code and not as the chatbox itself......Pleas let me know what I can do so only my members can access this chat and if they choose to leave our group I am able to remove them from the chat.

Re: BB Code and HTML
We need some more information.
What forum system are you using? If you are using XHTML 1.1 Strict, the <embed> attribute will not work.

Re: BB Code and HTML
It sounds like the only way that this can be done would be through PHP and sessions. Once they login to your forum, they will be running a session on the server, you would use this session to determine whether or not they can view the shout box.
