Anyone using Web Easy Pro? Help?
I'm trialing this site after good reviews and on the whole it's VERY user friendly. I've built most of my site but when I go to the preview the site only takes up about 2/3rds of the screen. No matter what resolution I set it at, it still takes up only about 2/3rds of the screen. How can I adjust? Or is this normal? Has anyone else experience of this programme? I also trialed Site Spinner which was very good and also very easy - any advice or ideas on which might be best for a new (and slightly tech-challenged!) web designer? THANKS!!!!! P.

Re: Anyone using Web Easy Pro? Help?
Hey, if you haven't yet bought it i'd advise you don't from what i hear of web easy 7 pro it's a buggy program that only designs sites compatible in IE... If you really want to make good websites(and have time on your hands) then i suggest you learn to code: www.w3schools.com and if you despirately need a WYSIWYG editor i'd suggest something like BlueFish(because it's open source and does the same job)...
Generally, i believe you should learn to code before using a wysiwyg editor because it allows you to fix the bugs between browsers and gives you a true understanding of your site. Most wysiwyg editors are limited to client-side aswell and i think it's vital nowadays to have experience of a server-side language. Cheers, Jamey |

Re: Anyone using Web Easy Pro? Help?
Hi Jamie - thanks for your advice. I like the website you sent - but I doubt if I can learn fast enough for my needs. (will keep at it though!). Maybe I'll try Blue Fish? Haven't heard of it, but I'm off to search. Thanks!!!

Re: Anyone using Web Easy Pro? Help?
I'd definately try bluefish, basically look for a freeware/open source wysiwyg editor because they all seem to do the same job (and i've only heard bad things of web easy 7)....
Sorry i've done some looking and apparently BlueFish isn't available for windows yet, (it's in development) but heres a link with a tonne of WYSIWYG open source alternatives: http://www.osalt.com/dreamweaver If you do ever get the time then definately check out w3schools they're the best web-building tutorials on the web. Cheers, Jamey |

Arachnophilia is similar to DreamWeaver but does not inject garbage into half of the elements. Written exclusively in Java, Arachnophilia can be run on any system. http://www.majorgeeks.com/Arachnophilia_d5586.html
