i need help!!!
Yes I am just learning photography and I am looking for a good digital photo program to work on my digital photos. I have looked at some many and I think they all look great but I am just not sure. Could someone please help me...Thank Lori

adobe photoshop elements is a good and cheap commercial one. Also check out paintshop pro.
a free one is Gimp. the only problem with any of them could be your operating system - if you are using win98 as stated in your profile you should be able to get demo versions and reviews for any of them at download.com

Personally i use Paint.NET, GIMP and Inkscape. They're all open source and do the job well. If you have the money then Adobe Photoshop is a brilliant program(As sobeit says, Elements is also good and cheaper). If you only need basic effects&touch-ups then Photshop "Express" is a nice online tool.
