Re: Joomla

Depends on what you want. Your template will differ based on the site you have set up. Do you have a site ready or are your planning on making one?

XHTML and CSS are very easy to learn and work with. www.w3schools.com has excellent tutorials and information on XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and everything else you need to know.

Re: Joomla

I need a little help in the area of Joomla templates. What I'm making is a game review site and I/we have decided on red and black as as the colors pic http://img509.imageshack.usmy.php?im...0002tm5ph1.jpg I kinda drew what I want the layout to look like but I don't know where to start or what to do. I would like to have some rounded edges and roll over menus ( I know how to make them on a web template) but not 100% on how I can get this done on a joomla platform. Anyway can anyone help me or guide me through how I can get this done ( been reading tutorials with no luck understanding whats up)

I'm open to any suggestions or ideas

Re: Joomla

Rounded corners and rollover drop-down menus are easy enough. Joomla should work like a "free" file manager, except this is much larger and easier to work with. File uploads are easily accomplished with their system, and sorting the files is simple.

Do you have any files ready for upload?

Re: Joomla

You would need JavaScript for the drop-down menu. Log on/off I don't really know. If you want a free forum system for log on/off support, you could try ZetaBoards or IPB. I know a lot about ZetaBoards, and IPB wouldn't be much different.
