Cry Help!!!

Help, please! I have created a Freewebs page and want to ban some people from my website. I have their IP addresses, but I don't know how to use them to stop them from posting about their porn and stuff. Help!!! It's getting really annoying!!!

Re: Help!!!

Are you using the Freewebs forum system or a third-party application? Consult your webmaster's or administrator's documentation, and have a look around in the Administrators' Control Panel of the forum system.

Re: Help!!!

Hey, did you create the site yourself? if you did then i assume you have the code behind your posting system? if you do you can easily stop people from posting images without them having first been verified etc.

Though freewebs has no server-side support so it would be akward...

Cheers,
Jamey

Re: Help!!!

@dm01 I use the Freewebs forum design, not a custom one.
@jamiemax2005 How? I mean, what's the html code to ban visitors?

Thanks!

Re: Help!!!

Hmm, given that Freewebs doesn't support server-side scripting i'm pretty sure you can't do this... dm01 might now more about freewebs' system than me though... This couldnt be done purely in HTML...

Re: Help!!!

Freewebs currently does not support that particular function. You can, however, put everyone you think is "safe" and put them into a group with the boards. The "unsafe" people are stuck without a board, or confined to a small area where they can do whatever they like.
