Re: Banned IP on google...??
In relation to your other post, and ill say exactly what I said there, here.
Indexing takes a LONG time and its not a overnight process. try typing site:yourdomain.com (without a space) into google and see if has crawled any pages. |

Re: Banned IP on google...??
its been a week and all my other sites are being indexed in 24-48hours
im about to host the site on 110mb.com also until its sorted because iam certain something is wrong - the business/site is listed everywhere and they havent indexed it Im asking if theres a way to find out if your HOSTS IP is banned by google-bots.. because ive read it happens a lot and is the most common reason for sites not getting indexed.. Hosts use headers to put hundreds or even thousands of sites on the same IP address - when one or more of these sites get banned by google your "Banned by Association" and your site wont get indexed because its on same IP as banned IP This is what Im trying to find out |

Re: Banned IP on google...??
Well hosts will stored hundreds of sites on the same IP. Cost wayyyyyy to much to host 1 site on a single IP.
To get your hosts IP, open command prompt, (type CMD into run) and then ping yourdomain.com (with a space after ping). I dont know if there is a way to check whether the IP is banned from gooogle tho. |

Re: Banned IP on google...??
ive just been told that they could have blacklisted the content of the site when i submitted a URL removal for the 1st domain it was on...??? this is stupid if so because it means - cos i hosted my site on a temp host then moved it to its proper home then asked google to remove search results for the old domain i have to build a new complete different site?>???

Re: Banned IP on google...??
well google havent indexed the new URL but they have crawled sites with links to it - ive a feeling the content is blacklisted due to my URL removal -
how would i go about fixing that? (apart from building an entireley new site?) google webmaster tools says: Property Status Sitemap type Web Format Sitemap Submitted 1 hours ago Last downloaded by Google 1 hours ago Status OK Total URLs in Sitemap 8 Indexed URLs in Sitemap Help Help No data available. Please check back soon. so they are downloading the sitemaps regularly but not indexing the site/pages? Last edited by paulb100; 09-25-2008 at 10:34 AM. |
