Arggg...Frontpage won't install

Ok...I am somewhat irritated with Frontpage.

I recently had to complete a major upgrade to my xp computer (replace motherboard, hard drive & ram). I had a shop do it that is very trust worthy. They installed xp, minus all the crap that HP adds on, on the computer for me as that is what I was running before. I installed Office 2003 (Student & Teacher) with no problem...except having to activate it over the phone instead of online. I then tried to install my upgrade version of Frontpage and it is telling me that it cannot be installed without Office 97, 2000 or XP. I don't get it...it says Frontpage 2003 on the box and it says Office 2003 on the box and it won't work. What gives? I never had this problem before I had the work done on the computer except with my new Vista machine (same problem) which I don't care about becuase I am going to use my XP machine for all Web design with Frontpage.

Anyone have any insight???

Thanks!!!

Re: Arggg...Frontpage won't install

With an Upgrade version, you need the older version cd . . no need to install it, just insert the older install cd when prompted by the Upgrade installation disc.

Re: Arggg...Frontpage won't install

I have inserted the Office 2003 cd that I have when it is requested but it is not recognized as the proper version. I do not have a version of Office prior to Office 2003...
