[SOLVED] I cannot ftp my website using AOL to ftp.angelfire.com

I have AOL on my computer. I use a web design program called SITE SPINNER. However, I can no longer ftp my pages to Angelfire from AOL. AOL seems to have taken over my computer! Even when I have AOL closed, I still cannot do it. If I try to get to the site ftp.angelfire.com from Mozilla Firefox--it works--but again, even with AOL closed on my machine--it is not allowing me access to the site through the ftp program on SITE SPINNER. Any clues? I have tried about everything except taking AOL off my computer, which, unfortunately, at this point, is not an option. I asked AOL LIVE help--there were NO help. I have a thread going back/forth with Angelfire--they are working on it--this has been ongoing for a week now.

Thanks DM01--but the ftp part is not the problem--the problem is connecting to angelfire through AOL. Sharon

Emupower, take a look at Angelfire help. It should have some information for you. I didn't dig to deep in there but you should be able to find any answer.

Cheers!

Re: I cannot ftp my website using AOL to ftp.angelfire.com

UPDATE: nothing I did helped--since I changed all settings back to what they were....however, just after lunch today, I tried YET AGAIN to upload the website...and SUCCESS....either AOL or Angelfire (both of which I have been to their tech support with this problem) fixed the problem! Anyway--thanks anyone who tried to help.
