Pictures not loading??
Hey,
Im new to this forum, so HI :) Okay, Im also (kind-of) new to Frontpage and i have a question, not sure if its front page related or what..but ill give it a shot.. (I hope im posting in the right area btw, so confusing really) Okay, so I made a homepage for my website/forum, and it was all okay looking, etc, etc, untill i copied the code into my web hosting area place, and it all loaded up perfectly, except the pictures arent loading, just a blak space with the little white box in the top left corner with the red cross in it.. And its not only on my computer this is happening to either..so something isnt right.. Am i missing something, why is this doing it?? |

Re: Pictures not loading??
Hi Meg, a warm welcome to TSF
![]() Yes, you are posting in the right spot! ![]() I am not familiar with Frontpage (I use Dreamweaver). The white space with a little x is the standard 'icon' when an image is not showing for one reason or another. There could be three possible reasons for the images not showing: 1) they were not uploaded with the html file/s. I will have to leave that issue to someone who is familiar with the way Frontpage uploads but check the settings. 2) The images were uploaded, but went into the wrong directory(folder) in your server. Make sure that you have set the correct path 3) The images may be of the wrong type. I recommend only JPG, PNG or GIF types. They are the most common. Image files like .PSP or .PSD will not render in a web browser. |
