image transfer
I can't get images to show on personal web space. I've uploaded with binary and they still won't show.
I'm supposed to have 10MB of space, but I don't think I've exceeded that. Here's the site http://pages.suddenlink.net/hydrookla |

Re: image transfer
well as with my browser i can't find the image: /desktop/pics/b... though /desktop sounds as if it's a link local to your computer, the link of the image has to be relative to the file... Where exactly is the image uploaded?
Cheers, Jamey |

Re: image transfer
your path to the gif is wrong
For example, you have http://pages.suddenlink.net/Desktop/Pics/police.gif it should be http://pages.suddenlink.net/hydrookla/police.gif look at all of your other paths and verify they are right.

Re: image transfer
I agree with the others, your file paths are wrong. To me it looks like you are not writing the HTML yourself, but using an editor, so I'm not sure how to help you. Could you tell us what editor you are using.
Or maybe you can figure out how to fix the paths yourself. Your current paths read something like ../web/Fire_truck_2.gif If you could just change that to Fire_truck_2.gif (if the pics are just on you're root directory) you'd be good... like sobeit said, but I don't think you need the whole http address, since you're dealing with files locally on your own server. Re: image transfer
Haha! What a coincidence. I was just trying out Trellian the other day to compare it to Dreamweaver for my friend, but, I don't know, sorry, I just felt like throwing that in... not important.
Decent freeware program though... but it doesn't create very organized code!
