How to set table cell width to be the same regardless of contents?
July Sermons
August Sermons I developed a website for my church. See the two links above for the sermon download pages. The problem I am having and can't figure out is, when there is less text in the cell contents, the cells including headings, move in. See the difference between July and August? I want them to all stay like July regardless of the length of text in the cell. Any idea how to do this? This is my first website so I don't know much so you may have to talk in baby terms. I am using Dreamweaver CS3 to design this. Let me know if you have any ideas. Thanks a lot guys! |

Re: How to set table cell width to be the same regardless of contents?
Try highlighting the individual columns and set their width in the properties box. (Either as a percentage or as a fixed pixel width) That should give the command "width= n%" Or "width=npx"
![]() EDIT: also ensure that all empty cells have a non -breaking space in them. viz: Code:
