HTML coding--help--

hello,
like my user name says, I'm new at this
I'm building a HTML email in GoldMine 6.7 (a stubborn program)
and I'm having trouble with the internal borders of my table. I used the rules=none coding to make them invisible but, somehow, when I test & send an email to myself or co-worker, they show up...

What can I do??

thanks for your help!!

Re: HTML coding--help--

Hey, can i ask a few questions(thats technically one but i'll assume it's a yes)?

- I haven't heard of goldmine, is it a wysiwyg editor?
- I also haven't heard of the "rules=none" code, whats it's language?(HTML/CSS)...
- Have you written HTML from scratch before? and do you know it? (this assumes goldmine is a wysiwyg editor) If not i strongly suggest you learn, these are the best tutorials(in mine and many other's mind) on the web: www.w3schools.com

And finally could you post the code of your site/page?
(or a link if it's online) because it would help us loads.

Cheers,
Jamey

Re: HTML coding--help--

I just googled Goldmine to discover that it is a Contact Manager

Quote:

This manual addresses the main concepts and
features for the administration of GoldMine and
GoldMine Corporate Edition. Some of the features
discussed are specific to a particular edition. The
differences are commonly defined as follows:
• GoldMine is licensed with a D-license (standard)
and uses a dBASE database.
• GoldMine Corporate Edition is licensed with an
E-license (enterprise) and typically uses an SQL
database on Microsoft SQL Server.
I know nothing of Goldmine but I would imagine the argument "Rules=None" is part of Goldmines command/language structure. It is not an HTML solution as far as I can see.

Edit: There is an Administrator Guide for Goldmine Here
