Homestead Web Building

I have a new pc on Vista and find when I log into Homestead I am getting error message (code 5 homestead site integration core could not be loaded)

Homestead cutomer service have been usless in helping.

For two weeks they have been telling me I must log in to get help or view my ticket, but that is the problem I cannot log in.

I have now sent 15 e-mails telling them this but keep getting the same stupid reply to log in for help.

They do not seem to be able to grasp, that my problem is that when I log in my pc freezes with the above error message.

I have had to cancel my credit cards so they could not take a payment from me.

My log in works ok with my old pc on xp so I feel that Vista could be the problem.

Re: Homestead Web Building

It sounds like you should be prepared to move from Homestead.! That said, I had a problem some time ago very similar. Even with a helpful customer service, we spent a long time trying everything. In the end, we deleted all account details. And then set them up again. Worked perfectly.

I hoope you find a resolution soon

Regards

Re: Homestead Web Building

Not sure what the question is - If you want a uk hosting site, I have used 1&1 Internet for several clients. They are Hosting & Domain Registration, not ISPs.

Confused Re: Homestead Web Building

Hi Dave,
We're having exactly the same problem with Homestead - did you eventually find a solution or take your website elsewhere????

Re: Homestead Web Building

Hi

No I gave up trying to solve the problem and took my business to a UK site where at least the customer service was accessible.

Do your own site is the name, their tools are not as good as Homestead but their customer service had been first class

I can't use those fancy tools. Call me oldskool, but I like AngelFire's webshell.
