I was working on a code using getelementbyid

Here is the code I would have someone put in the footer.

HTML Code:
<script type="text/javascript">
document.getElementById("ctl00_LatestVideos1_BannerAd_3001_Content").innerHTML = "
<script type="text/javascript"><!--
google_ad_client = 'pub-5101897515470108';
google_ad_width = 300;
google_ad_height = 250;
google_ad_format = '300x250_as';
google_ad_type = 'text';
google_ad_channel ='2742606288';
google_color_border = 'FFFFFF';
google_color_link = '000000';
google_color_bg = 'FFFFFF';
google_color_text = '000000';
google_color_url = '000000';
//--></script>
<script type='text/javascript'
  src='http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/show_ads.js'>
</script>";
</script>

Here is the code that is in the html:

HTML Code:
<div id="ctl00_LatestVideos1_BannerAd_3001_Content" align="center"><script type="text/javascript"><!--
google_ad_client = "pub-5101897515470108";
google_ad_width = 300;
google_ad_height = 250;
google_ad_format = "300x250_as";
google_ad_type = "text";
google_ad_channel ="2742606288";
google_color_border = "FFFFFF";
google_color_link = "000000";
google_color_bg = "FFFFFF";
google_color_text = "000000";
google_color_url = "000000";
//--></script>
<script type="text/javascript"
  src="http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/show_ads.js">
</script></div>

The problem is it all ends on </script>

Re: I was working on a code using getelementbyid

You should make sure to escape the quotation characters when you are setting the innerHTML value but if it's working try this:

Code:
<script type="text/javascript">
document.getElementById("ctl00_LatestVideos1_BannerAd_3001_Content").innerHTML = "
<script type="text/javascript"><!--
google_ad_client = 'pub-5101897515470108';
google_ad_width = 300;
google_ad_height = 250;
google_ad_format = '300x250_as';
google_ad_type = 'text';
google_ad_channel ='2742606288';
google_color_border = 'FFFFFF';
google_color_link = '000000';
google_color_bg = 'FFFFFF';
google_color_text = '000000';
google_color_url = '000000';
//-->
</script>
<script type='text/javascript'
  src='http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/show_ads.js'>
</script>";
</script>
