Question Dreamweaver Frame Scrolling

Ok my website is using 3 basic frames, heading, navigation, and content. Only the navigation and content frames are having to scroll. I want to know if it is possible to get the navigation and content frames to scroll together, so the scroll bar for the navigation frame wont be seen or something like that.

Also, how do I change the colors of the scrolling bars.

Question Re: Dreamweaver Frame Scrolling

Welcome to TSF aussiemcgr,

Have you tried just two frames instead of three?

You could replace the frames all together and use server side includes (SSI).

Check out htmlite explanation of SSI and a to test if your hosting server supports it.

Let us know how it goes.

As far as I know my hosting server doesn't support it, but the help isn't too helpful on there so I dunno. I do need 3 frames for my site because I will be adding and taking away Navigation and external links often.

Re: Dreamweaver Frame Scrolling

PHP has a great function called "include" :) Most hosts have PHP support these days.
