Cant See Pictures

HI

Wonder if anyone can help me. I am currently building a web site, i have managed to put some pictures up that i can see, when viewing on Explorer. I have just tried to insert a picture it is showing on dreamweaver, when i go to view it on Explorer its just showing a box with a red x in the corner.
Can anyone help me at all, and help me with this. I am not that technical at all, so basic wording would be helpful

check the path to the picture within the source code.
