Tough One for SURE
Heres a task I'm wondering if anyone wants to enlighten me on.....(I don't even know if it can be done)...I want a picture to flash with the beat of the music...It sounds like a tough one to me....But thats why I came here, if it can be done I know one of you smart guys/girls can do it

This is not going to be possible with displaying an image file and playing a midi or mp3 file in the background because the rate at which these files load and start playing is going to vary from pc to pc based on internet connection speed. That said - I'm thinking you'll need to create something in a multimedia authoring tool such as Flash. The other possibility would be to combine the picture(s) and music in a video file format (i.e. slideshow with background music). This way you can synchronize the images with the musical beats - packaging them as a video - which can be played like videos are played on YouTube. Hope this helps. - John |
