Need help with a gallery in Dreamweaver!
Hi I found this tread and it helps answers some questions of how to create a gallery on Dreamweaver
Image swap behaviour from Dreamweaver not 'behaving'! But my main question is - ok I have say 8 small thumbnails on the right and when you click on any of the thumbnails I want to have a bigger image shown in the middle .... I know It has something to do with insert>image object> image rollover and behaviours - but how do you tell dreamweaver where to put the rollover image in the middle???? as you can see - I am new to dreamweaver and very fustrated!!! please can anyone help me? many many thanks if you can Nic |

Re: Need help with a gallery in Dreamweaver!
haha, i tend not to use dreamweaver's design tools but write code using a text-editor... I don't know how to do what you want in dreamweaver but i know how to do it in javascript... if you were to attach the code of your webpage to your next post i could have a look, tell you what needs adding and explain what that does... (to view your source code click view->code (or something like that))...
If you intend to be a website designer/developer for a long time i'd suggest learning HTML, CSS and Javascript(the code that is written by dreamweaver when you design a page). If you wish to do that there are some great beginner's tutorials at w3schools.com Cheers, Jamey |
