Screen Scraping
Hello! I need to screen scrape this site: https://clc.its.psu.edu/CurrentLabuse.aspx using php. I'm pretty horrible at coding and have difficulty scraping simple headlines off yahoo. Can any tell me how to go about doing this?

http://www.vogel-nest.de/wiki/Main/WebScraping1 ^ some php tutorials for screenscraping http://www.getfreesofts.com/soft/896...aper_Lite.html ^ an example of screen scraping software - you can find more on google. It might be easier for you to use software to do it. |

Re: Screen Scraping
The links piggyboo posted should lead you in the right directions. It would have been much easier for you if the person who wrote that page knew anything about CSS and didn't use nested tables like crazy. All the font tags and nested tables in the HTML will just add complexity to your Regular Expressions, but it shouldn't be too bad.
LOL ... I like the title they put on the span at the begining of the table that contains the data: title="What are you mousing around in here for?" --------------------------------------------- Web Developer at Conetrix |
