RSS feeds and blogs
I have a very meager understanding of RSS feeds. The basic idea seems to be that it is an automated delivery system, to have news automatically delivered to your email or rss feed reader without having to go to the same site every day and download it, etc.
I am wondering if it is possible to have a template in a blog set up to receive a picture from another blog as an rss feed as well as the text concerning that picture? |

I do not know a lot about rss (it's on my ever growing list of "stuff to know about), but I do have a question for you. Searching through Google it seems that there are specific sites you can pull info to/from. A few examples are facebook, wordpress, new blogger, etc...
Possibly could help to know where from and to you are pulling the rss feed?

Re: RSS feeds and blogs
I'm fairly competent with RSS, but to help I need a bit more information, such as which blogging software you're using and what RSS feeds.
If you're proficient with HTML and have passable knowledge of PHP you could use something like this and then setup a php page in your blog to call your RSS feeds through that script and display them. If you just want to read the RSS and have a bunch of them grouped together, may I suggest Google Reader?

Re: RSS feeds and blogs
Thanks! I am a newb at this stuff...am just figuring out what rss means. The Free RSS to HTML might do. What I need to be able to do, in addition to passing text, is to pass a picture as well. Can it do this? Wait! I just looked further...it will manage pictures. Thanks a million! If you were here I would give you a big hug and a cheesecake :)
