Hyperlinks contained within a flash panel on my site won't link for flash v.9 users?

Hyperlinks contained within a flash panel on my site wont link for flash v.9 users but will for flash v.8 users. how can I fix it?

My website is www.gadgetvault.co.uk, please click on one of the front page links i.e.

Boys Toys, Girls Toys, Room 69, Big Brother,

Then you will see a sub section flash panel unfold and open, the panel works fine when i use flash 8 but when i upgrade to flash 9 it doesn't work, the buttons still wobble but they won't link to the relevant sub sections!

Im a newb and my web designer is "busy" so please fire questions at me if you need more info, from what I know he designed the panel in flash 8 and only uses flash 8 on his PC,

My site is suffering big time because people with flash 9 can't open the sub links on the panel and the flow of browsing is destroyed!

So please help out guys, much appreciated!

@ kaper: hmmm, I still use IE6, so that is why I was not able to replicate your problem. But have a look at the following links. I think the first method looks promising, perhaps the fourth link is usefull, please report back if it helps or not: http://www.robertnyman.com/2006/04/0.../#comment-4003
