Issues using Dreamweaver MX & CSS

I'm fairly new to HTML programming and I am trying new things. They
are giving unpredictable results.

I am using a Master.css to define output characteristics and background
characteristics.

Previously I had <body background... color... > values, but I came accross
the CSS idea and decided to try it.

I have:
<link href="../Master.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css">

<body class="bodySide">
classes defined for most of my output for this page.

The page is made uses frames. with a Header.htm accross the top
a left_Index.htm page on the left
a main_page.htm in the middle
and a right_index.htm on the right.

When I show this page in dreamweaver MX it is exactly the way I want
it to show.

When I upload it to the website, it puts all the files there including the
.css file. For some reason when I run the program from the web,
it ignores all the .css characteristics. As I was developing it, It was showing it to me. Then as I got it closer to being finished, it quit.

I am clueless where to start with this one. Can anyone make any
suggestions for me to check on.

Thank you

Dwight

Re: Issues using Dreamweaver MX & CSS

@ AmysDad: can you provide a link to the page for us to take a look at? It is kind of hard to see what might be the problem...
