Web Easy Professional - Text No Show

Hello

I am using Web Easy Professional and have just spent over 3 hours writing a load of text. I've been saving the site about every 10 mins or so.

Now when I open the site the text is not visible but the text boxes are there at the right size etc.

When I go to open the site there is a preview option and the relevant page is showing the text preview but the text is not visible when the site opens in Web Easy Pro.

I've tried changing the text colour (white text invisible etc) and I've tried opening in Notepad but can only see the text in the thumbnail preview window as I mention above.

Anyone any ideas please?

Many Thanks
Graham

Re: Web Easy Professional - Text No Show

Hi again

I've just thought on and the preview is a .jpeg but it shows that the text was saved at some point so what has happened to it?

Anyone had same / similar problems with Web Easy Pro?

Cheers
Graham

Hi

This very subject came up yesterday. To save time in retyping the comments, I would like to refer you to the thread.

http://www.techsupportforum.com/design-forum/web-design-programming/208454-help-me-you-gurus-web-easy-pro-vers-5-a.html

From what I have seen, it appears that it converts text to graphics rendering them into a boated file, unreadable by search engines and no 'copy & paste' capability.

It then adds real images within the graphiced text, then slices the resultant 'text + image' into several parts and places the parts within tables thereby re-creating your work into basically a large graphic.

Please come back here if you have any further thoughts or queries

Regards

Re: Web Easy Professional - Text No Show

Hi Donald

Turned out my problem was directly related to my use of `***` instead of '****' and this unearthed some weird bug.

`***` is the key under Esc.

'****' is same key as @ and does not produce any bugs etc.

Hope that helps somebody.
