trouble linking a slideshow on my website

Hi everyone. I don't know what information to even begin to start with (what you need) to help me answer this question. I have a website hosted by heritage web solutions. I am trying to set it up so I can add slide shows created by my ProShow Gold software. They told me to first save this into my cpanel files, which I did, now I don't know how to link it to the customer name. Let me know what info you need to help me out.

Thanks!

Re: trouble linking a slideshow on my website

I am assuming that this ProShow software creates Flash (.swf) files. To link these into your webpages then use something like this:
HTML Code:
<object width="550" height="400">
<param name="movie" value="somefilename.swf">
<embed src="somefilename.swf" width="550" height="400">
</embed>
</object>
As far as linking to your customers' names, I don't really understand what you are talking about.

I think he has different accounts on the server for different customers but he doesnt know how to link to them.

Is this correct?

I think you can install different things through the Cpanel for people, but im no expert in that stuff.

Re: trouble linking a slideshow on my website

Thanks for trying to help. Honestly, this is all a foreign language to me. Here is my website, if that helps to clarify anything.

ttp://athousandwordsphotography.net/index.html

if you click the "my albums" tab on the left, it takes you to a page of individual albums. Right now they are linked to an outside source called myphotoalbum.com. Instead of sending people off site to view a slideshow, I would like to use the ProShow slideshow I create for them to view directly from my website.

When I created the slideshow, it was named with some extension I had never seen before, .psh. I assume that is the ProShow specific file extension...but again, foreign language to me!

You could possibly use a gallery PHP script and have seperate albums for people to view, that way they are on your site.
