Firefox bookmark icons

I have a favicon.ico file for my website. It displays properly in Internet Explorer. However, in Firefox, it displays properly in front of the URL but does not display in the bookmark sidebar. How can I get it to display in the bookmark sidebar?

I think that if you re-bookmark it or open the link in the bookmarks may fix it.

Click the link in the bookmarks....

Its sometimes updated the favicon for me.

Just to add to the info mix, I have just bookmarked seabird AND another site with favicon. They register in IE but neither register the favicon in the bookmarked list in FF. I don't think it is anything that you are doing - Perhaps it's a factor of Firefox?

I have hundreds of favourites/bookmarks and just noticed that in IE favourites, all the favicons show but in FF Bookmarks none show.

(BTW: I like the site - brings back memories of when I was selling Hydro Products stuff in New Zealand 30 years ago!)
