embed audio

This is probably a dumb question, but is there a way to do the equivelent of <embed src="audio.mp3"> without having to use a quicktime plugin to play it?

That's pretty much it. Quicktime may be giving you issues if it's set as YOUR system's default MP3 player.

You could always put in a music player.
