Confused Uploading videos

Hi Everyone,

I was wondering how I could allow visitors to send me their videos or audios so I can put it for them on my website.

Also it would be great if I can integrate a player so it does not start windows media player on their comptuers.

I highly appreciate your advice here

I tried googling to find informaiton , but was unable to find what I am looking for.

Re: Uploading videos

Hey Acer,

I wrote a tutorial on how to upload files to a database - if you have a database (such as MySQL) and PHP-enabled server (probably do) then you can have users upload their videos to your site that way.

TUTORIAL: Upload Files To Database

You'd just have to add the MIME types you want for videos, take out the picture stuff (like length/width/etc)...and setup your database how you'd like it to be.

The player would basically just be an embed script. There are tons of these things on the internet if you Google it right. :)

Dear Redcore,

Thank you very much. I will work on that and see what happens.
