Re: Dreamweaver or Frontpage 2003?
Having used both to develop full websites I have to say DreamWeaver.

@ heero1: I agree with ebackhus, I prefer Dreamweaver.
Also, Frontpage seems to be a bit more Microsoft orientated iow Internet Explorer, while it is known that IE does not comply to (X)HTML & CSS standards.

My choice between the two is Dreamweaver also. I've never used it, but I've used Frontpage and, well, there's not much I can say about it.
Best way is to hand-code everything if you want to learn how. W3schools.com is a great site to start. If you want to go that route, Crimson Editor is free and WONDERFUL! Google it.

Re: Dreamweaver or Frontpage 2003?
I prefer Dreamweaver after using both. It's interface is a lot better in my opinion.

Re: Dreamweaver or Frontpage 2003?
Having used Dreamweaver and Frontpage - my advice would be to give Web Easy 6 a go.
It's much easier to use than Dreamweaver and Frontpage, you can place images and text anywhere on the page with ease - and above all, it's quick and easy to use. I incorporate my original Frontpage Forms into my newly built Web easy 6 web sites. www.esox.co.uk www.esox.co.uk/pikefishing2000 The key to any web site, in my opinion, is whether it looks good enough to make visitors bookmark the site and return to it at a later date. The second of my web sites (above) has been earning me a living for seven years - but now it's been revamped, business is better than ever before - I put that down to the new design. Your opinions on formate are most welcome. |
