HTML writting > Notepad

Banner making > Macromedia Flash, Macromedia Fireworks, Adobe Photoshop, Jasc Animation shop. Though none are free, I'm not sure of any that are. Though they do have trials.

Thanks. I have got Macromedia Flash but i have no idea how to do anything. Does anyone know where i can get a step by step on what i want to do please?

If you are looking for basic and free HTML, nothing beats Notepad. As for graphics design, either Macromedia Flash or Photoshop CS 2.
