How To Add A Search To My Website...
Hi, I want to know how to add a search to my website. NOT a google or ask search. I just want a search that just search's my website. If thats possible please?

Hi Jaymie,
How does your site run at the moment? If it's with PHP/MySQL, or infact with any other dynamic scripting system then it's quite a breeze. However, if your site just consists of static pages (that is just html that you edit with FrontPage or Dreamweaver), then you'll have to use Google. The good news is you can still make it whitelabel to some extent. |

At the moment its through a site wizard that comes with my hosting service
www.streamline.net I have the unlimited package. I am looking to expand my website into a big whold thing, I just wanted to know if i can put my own search in for people to find what they are looking for within my website/s. Really like this Tech Forum with its search within its website. If you know what i mean? |

Could you provide a link to it so I can see just what you mean? If you're worried about privacy then PM it to me.
Static is when you update the pages manually, and you don't use any scripting languages like PHP or ASP to change them automatically. |
