PHP Switch statement
I'm having an issue with a PHP switch statement.
(my new employer runs all back-end programming in PHP so I'm learning it )The switch looks at the URI and parses out the extension (".html") and then chooses a case based on the result of the parsed URI. (all is for instance because my company has a very high policy about confidentiality so I can't post actual code) case "home": echo "home"; break; case "blah1": echo "blah1"; break; case "blah2"||"blah3"||"blah4": echo "blah2-4"; break; case "blah5": echo "blah5"; break; case default: echo "default"; break; All is well until I try to get "blah5" or default to work. When I try to get anything after "blah2"||"blah3"||"blah4" to work, it just shows what "blah2"||"blah3"||"blah4" would show. Example: I want it to access case "blah5" and echo "blah5", but it accesses "blah2"||"blah3"||"blah4" and echos "blah2-4". Why is this?! I hope I was clear enough since I can't post actual code. Thanks everyone in advance! Dan
