Look at the site.
Anyone reccomend any PHP software that could make setting up a file serving site like this simpler.
PHP and open source would be a plus?
Dont be shy.. opinions?

first things first ... that looks uber cluttered. i think they layout should be more structured with a menu and different selections, the screen shots at the top if possible and in the middle some space.

then i would say it would look intense if flash was used as you could really make the army theme live with flash.

look at mambo server its a apache backed website establishing tool thingy wich also simplifies filesharing alot.

I have to agree with Fr4665. It looks very osCommerce. The black text and white links should be some other colors. The white over powers the black, so much so that all you see is what's in white.

It might be worth while considering making each column a different shade of that army green. Each column looks like it has a seperate function, but they all blend together making it look disorganized.

Finally, it might look a little more consistent looking if you put some kind of tranparent .gif to regulate the height of each column. That way, as you scroll down, one colum doesn't end while the next keeps going.

This is just my opinion. By nature, I am a very minimalist designer. I try to keep things as simple as possible, so don't think I'm being to harsh, that's just my perspective.
