how do you make a website?

i've googled it and its really frustrating how do you make a website that you can ad pics to and people can come on to and type **** onto?

If you a site where visitors can type and add pictures, you need to make use of some good server side scripting. Either find a nice template like phpbb that will do it all for you, or spend some time learning xhtml, php, and mysql.

I have found http://web.help.com a very good site - i've just created my website in this program and it was so easy

There are many ways to make a web site. You can make a graphic based template, which will be made in programs liek Photoshop or Fireworks etc.... There are also websites bases on Coding - Html/Xhtml/Css/Php etc... these are for the more advanced users which have a rough idea of what there doing.

If YOU are wanting to create a web site, i suggest you use photoshop to get the basic design and then go over to image ready whih you can then slice it into tables.

But, if you just wanting something such as a forum. Search on good for free forums or something. Or free templates. Then you can have a free forum and template.

But you still need to have basic html knoladge to edit those.
