Adobe Premiere Question
Hey all, I'm new to Premiere so please bear with me.
I'm trying to import an AVI that's been encoded for DivX and it will import sucessfully, however, when I go to do my editing the video will not play. Do I need some kind of plugin or a setting somewhere I'm not seeing to make this work? I also checked out the DivX website and tried to do it their way and it would crash almost imediatly. Any Idea's? Thanks for the time. Jaden |

I don't know much about premiere, but I'm pretty sure a divx file needs to be converted to another format before it will work properly with premiere. It's made for handling high-definition formats, and doesn't do so well with compressed stuff. Hopefully one of the video geniuses can pick up on this one.
