Nero

My problem start after I launch the software. I want to copy and image and burn a DVD. When I select Burn Video Files, nothing happens. The Nero Icon is to the lower right but nothing launches. It just disappears. The same thing happens when I select Burn Image. It used to launch but doesn't anymore. I've tried doing an uninstall/install but that didn't do any good. I'm thinking conflicts between this and something else.

Any suggestions?

Specs:

Athlon 3400+
3gb ram
XP Pro
650 PSU Antec
Gigabyte K8 mb
X1950 AGP 512mb

I had the same issue and have not found a fix. Have you tried going directly to Nero Express?

Have you tried to uninstall AND use something like "Windows Installer Cleanup" or any other reg-cleaner before re-installing?

What format is the image file? (ISO, BIN, NRG, etc)

If Nero isn't working, you could use the freeware ImgBurn. Very easy to use, supports most image formats.

After moving up to Win7 my copy of Nero 7 wouldn't work so now I just use IMGBURN. Works great!
