Mirror effect

I want an effect similar to that in imovie,which splits the video in two parts with one side like a mirror to the other.but,unfortunately the imovie runs only on mac,and my os is pc.can you tell me software similar to imovie whichs runs on pc and has the mirror effect?

Windows MovieMaker, which is sort of the PC equivalent of iMovie only not as good, has the mirror effect - you can choose either horizontal or vertical mirror effect. Movie Maker should be on any PC that has Windows as its operating system - it comes as part of the Windows package. It isn't the best of video editing suites - very basic but may serve your purpose.
Look for it by going to Start > Programs and it should appear in the list near the other Windows applications. There are plenty of tutorials on Youtube if you can't figure out how to use it.

thank you but that does not fulfill my wish. The following image will tell you how i want the effect to be:

the frame is split in two parts,where in one part the image is normal and the other is of the inverse of it.

i have no clue in this field, but recently i have bought Sony Vegas Pro, which i am yet to use. I was wandering if Vegas would do it?
