Website logo poll

I have been working for a few days on a logo for my website/business and I have come up with two possible ideas that I would like your opinion on which is should use.

Wow 33 views and not a single vote...apparently both are bad enough that no one is even willing to vote.

I like the first as the thin lines of the snake make it more obviously a snake. I'd just reduce the size of the texture on it to sharpen it up some.

If your business is snake-related, then the tree doesn't need to be so prominent. Simplify the logo to focus on your key feature (ie. snakes). Everything else in the logo is superfluous.
