corel painter x file compatibility problems

I am a graphic design student and I use corel painter x for mac os at school and use the same program for my pc at home. The painter files I save on the mac won't open on my pc version. Even if I save them as jpegs my pc won't recognize the file. I don't have any problem doing it on adobe products. HELP!

What settings are you using to export?
