my animation teacher gave me a book called introduction to 3d graphics & animation using maya
I'm not sure what version of maya it uses, probably older than 8.5, but will work with it just the same. It's a good book if you're just starting to use maya since it explains stuff clearly and has example tutorials too, so you can try out what you have just read and have a kind of walkthrough example so it sticks covers modeling and texturing, but I'm not too sure how deep it goes though |
