gimp question

I found an image that is too small, I resized it to get it as big as i need it, but it is all pixelated and i cannot make anything out in the picture. Is there away to resized the pic and make it crisp again, so I can actually see what is in it?

basically no - what your software does when resizing a small image is either
1. add more pixels to it - and it has to guess at what colour the pixels will be based on the image information in the original image, this is called resampling

or

2. it makes the existing pixels bigger

if at all possible find another image that is a suitable size
