Flash MX - Importing Video
i wanna put videos on flash so i can draw over them and add effects etc.
the footage is from my phone which is a LG ku990, and the video files are AVI format. i have tried to import them to the library or import them to the stage but they do not show up, i just get a white box where the video would be, with nothing in it. it should work though, i've done it in the past with footage but just cant remember the exact way to get it working.. i'm using flash mx 2004.. probably outdated, but i do know its possible to do it with this version. the last time i did it i used footage from an older phone, so im wondering if its to do with the pixel rate or something? any help, advice, tips, feedback all welcome. thanks |

Re: Flash MX - Importing Video
:EDIT:
i can actually get the first frame of the video to show up but thats it, no progress, also when i import the video, just to check the videos do work, i go to edit and play the video and its still for like 10 seconds before moving to the next frame, so im seeing very little frame action in something thats supposed to have more movement, i can watch the videos in windows media player and they work just fine, its when they move to flash the entire video becomes like 3 frames, like.. stillshots. its not that i need to add more frames on flash for it to run through, or speed the video up, it only shows 3 frames.. one from the beggining, one for bout halfway and one for the end. its not lag. it just discards all the frames between the gaps. :EDIT: ah man sorry for forgettin details.. ah i also remembrd the video was actualy in fast forward when i put it on media player.. but when i watch on my phone the speeds normal. yea thats all. hope it helps.
