Illustrator cs2 question ????

Just became a member.
I have a problem with printing my artwork to the edge of the page. My document setting is 8.5x11 but is printing with an eighth inch white border. I am using a Brother MFC5440CN inkjet printer.
Can someone shed light on this??? Thank you!

Sally

Re: Illustrator cs2 question ????

did u edit propeties on inkjet ,try using same dimensions as u have on your document, also make line thiner (white one) to i d say 0.005 ,that should trick printer to avoid printing it.So when u do Ctrl+P (or just print button) click on properties,on the righ corner ull see page dimensions, make sure they match your document, and see if its possible to adjust your picture to top right corner in adobe, thats all i could think of

Re: Illustrator cs2 question ????

there should be an option to check "borderless" print in the printer driver dialogue some where. is that checked? also is 'fit to page' selected for scaling?
