CorelDRAW question, really need help!!!

Ok so basically at work I have to use CorelDRAW on a PC, The verison I am using right now is 11. We have never had a problem with it until I got a new computer off one of our designers when he upgraded. He also used CorelDRAW 11 (just upgraded to 14) and so all I needed to do was copy my files over. Everything is fine with program and everything opens as expected. My problem is that for some reason there is no longer an option to edit a bitmap. Normally I could right click on a bitmap and click on edit. That option doesn't show up anymore. In the menu's it is grayed out. I have no idea why it is doing it, it has never done it when the designer was using it. The only thing I can think of is that I had to install CorelDRAW 7 as there is a few files that need to be used in that because of colour matching purposes. I have uninstalled in case that changed some preferences but its still not working. Anyone got any idea's on what it could be?
