[SOLVED] Image Mixer 3 - Capacity Issue
I've imported and edited my camcorder clips (Hitachi camcorder) using Image Mixer 3. I try to write contents and an error message appears, "Not enough free space in workspace. Change the workspace"
The film is 3.8GB and I have more than 5 GB on my drive. Any ideas?? |

Re: Image Mixer 3 - Capacity Issue
Hi, welcome to TSF
What size is your hard drive? You need to keep at least 15% free space for Windows to run efficiently. If the video file is 3.8GB, it will need something like 4-8GB for temporary files. Can you clear some space on the drive?

Re: Image Mixer 3 - Capacity Issue
When you're working with videos, the editor usually creates a second file and several smaller temp files so that any changes you make can be undone without affecting the original. This is called non-destructive editing. Although it takes alot of disk space, it's the safest way to work.
Some other video editors work directly on the original file and don't need as much extra space, but if you make a mistake it's harder to fix. Thanks for posting your solution. I'll mark this thread as solved.
