Recording playback on computer for Nikon 3700
Hi all,
I have a Nikon Coolpix 3700 camera, and I am having problems with the recording. It used to work fine, but up until about a year ago, we can't get the recording playback to work like it should. When a recording is being taken, the noise that should be picked up by the camera, it is very low or not at all. Instead, when I do a recording of something that normally it would pick up, on the playback on the computer, it can barely be heard, and if a normal sound/noise, it cannot be heard. The sound on the computer is fine, so it shouldn't be directly with that. I think the camera has been reset, and spending time on the phone with Nikon support did not help. Does anyone know what the problem is, or how to fix this problem? Thanks, Jason

Re: Recording playback on computer for Nikon 3700
I went to the support page for your camera and looked for the manual (it's about 1/3 of the way down the page)
http://support.nikontech.com/app/ans...ail/a_id/13948 The only sounds settings I see are on page 97. You have only have 3 settings though! 1 through 3. Maybe it's on 1, and you can increase it to 3. On page 98 it talks about sound release, but I don't even know what that is. |
