HELP..Sony Vegas Pro.. VideoFX preview probs

hi
i just shifted from sony movie studio platinum9 to sony vegas pro8. the problem i face is- whenever i add a videofx/filter in a video clip... it doesnt show up in the preview window/monitor. its impossible to edit something when i dont know how its looking. i am following it the same way i did with sony movie studio platinum. eveything is working well except the video fx part. the transitions and overlays are working fine in the preview window but i cant see the effects and changes of the videofx in the preview. can anyone help? pleaseeeee

Hi there, I'm having the exact same problem as you and have no idea as to what to do.. was hoping that mayby you had found an explanation to this or a way to solve it?
