Adobe pgotoshop 7.0 issue moving to new comp

Hello i got adobe photoshop on ym old computer and i recently upgraded to a newer computer. i attempted to just copy all the files from one folder to the usb drive but when i try loading of the drive it says missing personalization info. plz help

You need to reinstall the program from the original Photoshop CD. Copying the files from the Photoshop folder won't work as there are other hidden files and registry entries.

With Photoshop you also have to deactivate before uninstalling from the old and installing on the new using the CD and Product Key

I don't recall for sure since it has been a while since I used 7.0, but are you sure 7.0 had that Deactivate issue/need?

You are correct that did not start until CS or Version 8
