Long Story Short - My neighbor straight up denies saying things that I have quoted her saying in complaints to my condo assn. I recorded her saying these things on my iPhone, transferred the audio to my pc, tried to enhance it through Nero .wav editor.
My girlfriend and I can both hear what shes saying perfectly especially the things the recording was meant for. Though the people in charge of the assn. as well as friends say they have a hard time making it out. Wondering if anyone on here can recommend how to enhance it so its louder, and when it gets louder how to dissipate the noisiness. Or just do it for me. I've included a link to dl the .aiff file. Also try writing out what you think is being said, always good to get someone elses opinion. zshare.net/download/59139466136fbcce/ |

Re: Audio Recording Enhancement
Hi, welcome to TSF
The original file's audio quality makes it quite difficult to work with. I've normalised the volume to as high as it will go without clipping that would distort the voice. I then reduced the most noticeable clicks and used the noise reduction filter in Sound Forge to reduce the background noise, then a final normalise to complete. It's not perfect, but you can make out most of what's being said. Download the edited wav from: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=HWGPTKAV
